A sense of fairness

Most people know that you cannot have any real safety and happiness except in a society where everyone plays fair. It is important to discuss this topic because there seems to be an underlying attitude of my way or no way which is permeating our lives more than we realize.

Safety and happiness can only come from people all over the world being honest, fair, and kind to each other. It is one of the most important rules in the world. I can’t believe that most people would want to leave a legacy of contention and negativity. We are better than that. We are actually able to make better choices for the human race when we exercise our freedom to think rather than respond automatically to our immediate feelings.

We need to get back to the basics of honesty, fairness, respect for others, love, compassion, and kindness. Without these virtues, our world can be a very unpleasant place.
